We’re welcoming non-members to visit, see, sample and enjoy the Club’s facilities and, if wanted, BECOME A MEMBER mid-year via the Club’s special membership offer (see below).
Today is also the Frimley Green Carnival centred around the eponymous ‘Green’ which the Carnival’s procession passes and on which there are a variety of stalls from local organisations as well as the Club’s
Come and find our stall on the Green (it’s #14 at the Rose and Thistle side) for face painting fun for kids and a balloon twister with screechy-scratchy, will it burst or not entertainment, loved by kids and grown-ups alike, to keep everyone guessing as amazing shapes and forms emerge from sausage-shape balloons.
Throughout the day two special food trucks will be in the Club car park (at the back near the garden entrance) – “Makhulu Wagon” from The London Hog Roast Company plus “The Funky Pickle” which specialises in the Canadian dish of ‘Poutine’ – traditionally fries, curds and gravy but extended to fries and toppings for all tastes.
As the Green winds down the Club’s doors remain open for use of the garden with lots of shaded seating and the fully air-conditioned indoor bars (main and lounge), the pool table and darts areas.
BECOME A MEMBER mid-year (£20)
And this is where you can join the Club mid-year with a “rest of the year” £20 membership – only on Carnival day, at our stall on the Green as well in the Club itself (18-20 Sturt Road, GU16 6HX).
The Club is a thriving, family-friendly social community with both kids and family discos during the year as well as weekly live music events of which the vast majority are free to members (see our Events calendar for the upcoming program). Our fully air conditioned premises feature dedicated darts and pool areas plus football on the main and lounge bars big screens. There are special occasion parties for Easter; Halloween; Christmas and New Year and last but not least value-led beverage and food members-only prices.
The Carnival Open Day membership offer is a part-year membership for £20 running to December 31st this year so that membership renewals for next year will be, like for all other Club members, at the full membership rate for the following January 1st to December 31st period.
The Carnival Day offer is the only time in the current year when it’s possible to become a member mid year as at all other times membership applications are received in December for joining the next calendar year.
